Ellen Oster created Eternefit™ by combining her professional design experience and her experience in the health and fitness communities. Ellen is a 500-hour certified International Yoga Alliance teacher, a second-degree reiki healer, and has practiced and taught yoga in Mexico, France, and India. In response to her student’s requests for a more comfortable, and stress and injury-free practice, Ellen spent the last two years perfecting the Eternefit™ Mat.

“Chokurei” is a Japanese word meaning empowerment, and it informs Eternefit™’s company philosophy. With Eternefit™, Ellen hopes to empower yogis of all levels to elevate their practice and to inspire personal growth.
